Requirements

· Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

· Excellent with Microsoft office suite, exceptionally proficient in Microsoft Excel

· Tech savvy with various computer programs

· Experience with Fishbowl Inventory System preferred

· Experience with Account Management preferred

· Experience in Purchasing and Management preferred

· Experience in the Furniture and Accessories Industries preferred (Experience in Art or Design also a plus!)

· This is a full-time role

· Options for some remote work also available

Responsibilities

Specific to Key Accounts:

  • Monitor important deadlines
  • Following up with extensions (requesting cancellations 10 days ahead)
  • Submitting information to logistics 10 days ahead
  • Running reports to monitor schedule
  • Pricing and sales order confirmation
  • Confirmations of pricing and other product information, working with management to confirm
  • Clear communication with vendors regarding cancellations or any changes
  • General Point of contact for orders
  • Pursue new accounts
  • Monitor the Customer Service email and phone line
  • Respond to customers in a timely manner
  • Be professional and courteous to customers on the phone
  • Approve and review new customers on the website
  • Process customer orders
  • Develop and implement pricing policies that capture critical pricing decisions, steps, owners, approval levels, and exception processes.
  • Works directly with management to support all of the company’s key accounts
  • Maintaining the filing system
  • Prep and attend trade shows
  • General support for management
  • Pricing and sales order confirmation
  • Trade Shows
    • Attend and coordinate deliveries
    • Coordinate execution of trade show tasks and Marketing Collateral
  • Plans, directs, and coordinates the actual distribution and movement of products to the customer.
  • Warehouse orders and shipments – receive and process orders from large and small customers that need to be shipped from the warehouse
  • Order Freight shipments, finding the lowest rates
  • Perform quantitative analysis of data and translate into strategies for solutions or improvement opportunities.
  • Ensure office and warehouse have clear communication
  • Assist in damage claims received from customers and freight companies
  • Cultivate close relationships with customers.
  • Create proposals for customers from all sales channels.
  • Identify opportunities for new pricing, packaging and bundling strategies that will contribute to our strategic goals.
  • Responsible for defining, developing, implementing and governing the day-to-day functions of all sales channels
  • Manage order processing infrastructure of all product lines and customer segments, including entering orders and ensuring they are processed on time:
    • Pricing and sales order confirmation
    • Keep updated and accurate price lists for key accounts
    • Confirmations of worksheets and presentations
    • General Point of contact for orders
